Financial Information (via Basiq)

To provide our subscription tracking service, we connect to your bank accounts using Basiq, an accredited Data Recipient under the Australian Consumer Data Right (CDR). When you connect a bank account:

  • We receive read-only access to your transaction history and account balances.
  • We never see or store your banking login credentials.
  • Your banking data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Identify and track your recurring subscription payments.
  • Provide analytics on your spending habits.
  • Process subscription payments for the SubSavvy Premium service via RevenueCat.
  • Send you notifications about upcoming bills (if enabled).

3. Data Storage & Security

We use Supabase to store your data securely. Supabase is an enterprise-grade database platform that provides row-level security and encryption.

We employ administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party providers solely for the purpose of operating the Service:

  • Basiq: For Australian bank data aggregation (CDR).
  • RevenueCat: For managing In-App Purchases and subscriptions.
  • Supabase: For authentication and database hosting.

5. Your Rights (CDR)

Under the Australian Consumer Data Right (CDR), you have specific rights regarding your banking data, including the right to withdraw consent for data sharing at any time. You can disconnect your bank accounts directly within the SubSavvy app settings or via your bank's portal.
